Minnesota’s exports rose to a record $21.4 billion last year. Did your business benefit from this growth? “This is the age of the entrepreneur in China,” confirms Asia Direct Resource Owner Larry Mahoney, who wants to share what he knows about how to identify the international business opportunities while mitigating the risks.

On June 3, Mahoney, Zinpro Corporation International Operations Manager Chris Russell and Asia Business Consulting Managing Director Rodney Hiel will headline an international marketing panel. The panel is sponsored by Sales and Marketing Executives International (SMEI) MN. It will be moderated by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Audience Development Director Pam Brueck. This event is held in conjunction with the U.S. China Business Connections.
Minnesota exports to approximately 277 countries, which is 88 percent of U.S. export markets. During this panel, attendees will learn:
How leaders’ policies are driving countries in new directions. These initiatives may significantly impact how you approach and penetrate the market with your products or services.
Which countries with growing economies. This will help you identify where most opportunities are today.
Typical market entry pitfalls. What should your company consider when looking at entering a new foreign market?

Whether you currently do business internationally, or are contemplating expansion into another world market, you will learn valuable insights from Mahoney, Russell and Hiel during this panel discussion.
