Still trying to resolve chronic organizational conflicts and constraints? Learn the problem-solving skills that will help you leverage conflicts for increased profits. Stone Arch Organization Development President Dr. Scott Morrell says the first step is differentiating solvable organizational problems from those persistent tensions that are not solvable.

Functional conflict is a necessary business objective. You’ll learn to identify key interdependent tensions (polarities) within your organization and professional life that need the most attention in 2015. Some polarities need each other over time to achieve a higher purpose such as Competitive Advantage, Leadership Effectiveness or Optimal Organizational Health. These polarities, when misdiagnosed, reduce the organizational speed, mission critical change initiatives fail and/or valued talent departs.

You will learn:

·       A new way of thinking about organizational problems that are barriers to your success.

·       How to manage these barriers to your advantage and find solutions that gain support for your solution

·       How to see functional conflict as a necessary business objective

·       How to identify key polarities, such as short-term or long-term planning, my work or teamwork, and mission or margin that need the most attention in 2015

·       How to map organizational tensions for implementation in 2015
