Laurie Malone:

The focus of Laurie's practice is to assist people reach understandings and agreements. She does this as a mediator and collaborative attorney so people can avoid the hassles of court. In the workplace Laurie works as an investigator, transformative workplace mediator, trainer, and coach to improve relationships so relationships are improved, productivity is increased, and employee retention and engagement is increased.

Laurie received her bachelors of business degree from Cleveland State University in 1985. She received her law degree from Cleveland Marshall in 1996, and has been practicing law and mediation since she was sworn in as an attorney in May 1997. She has been certified in Myers-Briggs since 2010. In addition, she is certified to administer the Emotional and Social Competency Inventory through the Hay Group, and she is certified through Case Western Reserve University as an Emotional Intelligence and Intelligence Change Theory Coach.

Laurie is a board member and past Chair of Programming and Membership for the Lawyer's Guild of the Catholic Church, Board Member of the Autism Society of Greater Cleveland, Board Member of the Country Lakes Home Owner's Association, Vice-President of the Board for the Friends of the Independence Library, and Co-chair of the Mediation Group of the Center for Principled Advocacy.
