SMEI Inks New Four Year Agreement in P.R. China
SMEI Professional Certification Programs will play a vital role in establishing China as a recognized leader in standardized sales and marketing practices.
April 20, 2011, New York, NY: - Members of the International Board of Sales & Marketing Executives International, Inc. (SMEI) traveled to Beijing, P.R. China, to sign a new four year agreement for the continued development of SMEI professional certification programs in marketing management, sales management and professional selling.
SMEI's certification programs were first launched in China in 2008 and were immediately adopted by many of China's leading state owned organizations. SMEI's new agreement signals a renewed commitment to developing the programs in China. SMEI's carefully selected partner, China Services International, is well positioned with resources including highly proficient staff to further develop and deploy the strategic marketing plan and positioning of the sought after certification designations.
China Services International's General Manager, and Vice Director for China Association for International Exchange of Personnel, Mr. Zhixue Xiong, is the department head leading the program development. Ms. Alan Zhang, Deputy General Manager of China Services International has been appointed as Chief Executive of SMEI Programs in China.
The two parties held an official signing ceremony on April 8, 2011, followed by a press conference with over 100 representatives of China's mainstream media present.
