Welcome to SMEI Dallas!
It seems everywhere you turn there are two primary topics dominating news talk and business conversations, especially as it relates to sales and marketing: the economic recession and social technologies. People feel the effects of the recession and want practical tips and techniques to overcome this challenge. People also want to better understand social technologies, such as social media (i.e. Twitter, YouTube, etc.) and social networking (i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) tools, as it relates to their practical use for sales and marketing purposes. SMEI Dallas will do its part to help educate our members, guests and visitors on these two topics through powerful monthly programs.
Beginning in May 2009, and lasting through the end of the year, SMEI Dallas will begin its “Social Technology Series” of events. Each of our Monthly Forum Roundtable and Monthly Meeting topics, speakers and facilitators will provide knowledge, tips and techniques on how to leverage social technologies to thrive in a down economy. Occasionally we will throw in a sprinkle of optimism to combat all of the negative news and talk associated to the economy by booking inspirational Keynote Speakers. So come join SMEI Dallas on our pursuit to make a positive difference in the lives of local sales and marketing leaders!
