Enabling links to invoices or receipts
When someone pays for something online through your website, you can have the system automatically generate a link to a receipt (for credit card payments) or to an invoice (for pay-by-check or pay later). This link will appear at the top of the page after the person submits their payment. (For complete details on setting up methods of online payment, see Setting up methods of payments.)
To enable the automatic receipt and invoice links, click on the Online Payments link in the administration area. Then follow the appropriate instructions below:
To set up automatic receipt links, click the
General Setup tab at the top. Then
answer "Yes" to the first question, Would
you like for the user to be given link to a printable receipt upon completion
of transaction? This will automatically enable the link to
a receipt after someone pays for anything on your site with a credit card.
To set up automatic invoice links, click the
Billing Options tab. Then
answer "Yes" to the third question, Would
you like for the user to be given link to a printable invoice upon completion
of transaction? This will automatically enable the link to
a receipt after someone pays for anything on your site using the "Pay
later" option (assuming you have enabled this option).
Click Save at the bottom of the page to save the changes.
If a member fails to print their receipt or invoice and later requests it from you, you can generate and print or email the receipt or invoice to them. See Printing or emailing receipts and invoices.
