Downloading payment transactions

It can often be helpful to get a download of some or all of your payment records.  Our system can download payments to a spreadsheet file to facilitate easy review or reconciliation offline.

WARNING: Downloaded payment record files will include some personal information.  We do not include the credit card number in the download.  However, you should still be careful not to leave a file with sensitive data on your computer for an extended period of time, especially a laptop. Delete or password protect the file if you need to store it.  Help protect your members' personal information!

To download payment records, go to your Payment Admin link and use the filters and other controls (see Finding payment transactions) to get the record set you want to download.  Finally, click the button at the top.  This will generate the file and give you a link to click to download the file.  The file will be a tab-delimited text file, which can be opened with Excel or other spreadsheet programs.  (See Using Excel to open a downloaded spreadsheet file for assistance.)

If you don't want a spreadsheet file, but instead just want a quick printout of the transactions, use the button at the top to get a printable page of the transactions.  Then print the page through your Web browser.

Note to AMS/VeriSign users

If you use Affiniscape Merchant Solutions or VeriSign for automatic credit card processing, the payment download is extremely useful in reconciling your Affiniscape payment records with your AMS Plug'n'Pay or VeriSign records.  While 99% of your transactions will be accurate, it is possible that AMS or VeriSign can decline a transaction that it previously approved (usually in cases of fraud), so it's important to periodically reconcile the two systems.  Specific instructions for AMS users can be found by viewing Reconciling Affiniscape transactions with Plug'n Pay.
