Welcome to SMEI Arkansas

SMEI Arkansas, established in 1940, is an affiliate of Sales andMarketing Executives International (SMEI), the Worldwide Association of Professional Sales and Marketing Managers.


Our Vision: SMEI Arkansas is a community involved organization, which provides sales and marketing professionals a networking community and the opportunity to exchange new ideas and techniques to empower professsionals to grow and expand their business.

Our membership consists of Presidents, CEO's, Owners, Sales and Marketing Executives and Managers, Educators, Account Executives and Sales Representatives and provides a point of contact for management and sales and marketing professionals with like interests. SMEI Arkansas meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 11:30 - 1:00 p.m. at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in North Little Rock, AR. The Networking time is from 11:30 - 12:00 with lunch and program following. SMEI Arkansas also hosts the Top Manager of the Year Roast and Toast Banquet annually.

Robert 'Bunny' Adcock
Vice Chairman
Home Bancshares, Inc. and Centennial Bank

Robert H. Adcock, Jr., known to many as "Bunny" is the Vice Chairman and member of the Board of Directors, Home BancShares, Inc., a $7 billion bank holding company.  He also serves as Vice Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of Centennial Bank where he helped organize and establish Centennial Bank, a full-service bank serving Arkansas, Alabama and Florida.
Adcock began his career at First National Bank in Conway, now Regions Bank.  In 1976, he was appointed to a position at Arkansas' European Trade Office in Brussels, Belgium, by Governor David Pryor. He worked as an aide for Governor Frank White, was a lobbyist for the Reagan administration and served as President of the Arkansas Development Finance Authority appointed by Governor Mike Huckabee. He was the President of the University of Central Arkansas Foundation, was appointed to the position of Arkansas State Bank Commissioner and has held many more impressive positions during his career in banking and government.

Mr. Adcock is also the General Manager of Balloue Family Farms & A.M. Island Farms where he manages a 2,500 acre row crop farm engaged in production of rice, cotton, soybeans and corn. He also has many real estate holdings in the Conway area. He was Interim Vice President of Finance at University of Central Arkansas where he served as CFO of the 13,000 student University during an emergency period after the President and CFO resigned and retired. Adcock guided the University from a deficit of $8.5 million to a positive cash position of over $3 million. He is currently on the Board of Trustees at UCA appointed by Governor Mike Beebe.
Adcock is involved with many civic and community affiliations.  In 2014, he received the Distinguished Service Award by the Conway Chamber of Commerce, the highest award given by the Chamber.
Adcock is a graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville with a degree in business.
